Alumni Access to the TTUHSC Libraries

The TTUHSC Libraries recognizes that many of our alumni wish to continue to use the TTUHSC Libraries' collections and resources after graduation. Almost all of the Libraries' e-journals, e-books, and databases have restrictions on use and access that are specified in the licensing agreements signed by the library and the respective vendors. Off-campus access is restricted to TTUHSC faculty, students, and staff. Alumni have not been included as authorized users for remote access. Alumni who are using the library onsite have access to these resources as well as off-site resources. Alumni are welcome to use the Libraries's print and electronic resources on-site at the three campus libraries in Amarillo, Lubbock, and Odessa.

TTUHSC alumni may:

  • Search the TTUHSC Libraries' catalog and borrow TTUHSC materials.

  • Use our "Ask A Librarian" service for assistance.

  • Request literature searches.

    • There is no charge for literature searches.

  • Request items through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

    • The charge for articles the Library must obtain from another library is $4.00 per an article.

  • Come to the campus libraries in Amarillo, Lubbock, and Odessa to access the e-journals, e-books, and databases.

  • Photocopy, scan, and print.

  • Access and store citations in RefWorks (alumni program).

For your convenience, a number of freely accessible databases, open access electronic journals, and e-books are listed in this LibGuide.

Library Hours

The TTUHSC Libraries are open seven days a week. Also check the Events and Holdays calendar.
