Covidence is a versatile “workflow platform, that makes it easier and faster to bring together all the research from around the globe and turn it into trustworthy summaries of scientific knowledge.” With its simple import, screening, and evaluation process, reviews can be executed more efficiently.
To acquire a Covidence account with the library's institutional license for the first time, use THIS LINK, then enter your first name and @ttuhsc.edu email. This will send a formal invite to your @ttuhsc.edu email. Using the link provided in this email, complete the formal registration for member access. Note that you must NOT use the "Create an account with SSO" feature as this will not permit you authorized access. Also, make sure to click the box for authentication; clear cache if this feature is disabled or not functioning properly.
After registering, you will only need to “Sign In” to access your member Covidence account. You can create new reviews as needed and alter settings within existing reviews.
Note: If you have registered for Covidence after receiving an invite for a project collaboration, not the member account set-up method, you will need to be facilitated with a member account from an administrator. Contact the librarian or lead investigator you originally worked on the project to be authorized for a member account.
Click “Log in" when prompted where it says, “Please Log In to see all applicable discounts.” Then either login to your existing Cochrane account or click “SIGN UP NOW” to create a free one with your TTUHSC email address. Once you have logged in, you should be redirected to the subscriptions page where it has detected you as belonging to Texas Tech University. Click “Subscribe” to activate RevMan for your account.
This link is to use for logging in after you have done your initial registration with RevMan. RevMan is Cochrane's software for writing Cochrane reviews. RevMan has been designed to integrate with other systematic review software and new features and updates are added regularly.
