Instruction Resources: Embedded Library Instruction

For faculty looking to include library instruction in their courses, online or in-person. This guide encompasses services provided by the library (with applicable forms) and information literacy resources to aid both faculty and students.

Why an imbedded librarian?

With the proliferation of online instruction over the years, library services are evolving to meet both students and instructors in that environment. For those studying and teaching off-site, who may never physically set foot in the library, it's important that instruction on library resources, information literacy, etc. still reach library users. The TTUHSC Libraries are pleased to be able to provide an embedded service to better meet the needs of students and instructors.

Embedded Librarian Services

As part of the embedded library service, we are proud to offer the following:

  • live orientations and/or instruction services via Zoom
  • office hours within Sakai for students to contact us live
