Critical Appraisal Checklists

Critical Appraisal is a key aspect of EBM. While many database portals and pre-appraised literature tools exist, it is ultimately up to the clinician to identify and appraise studies for validity, reliability, and applicability for use in clinical scenarios. As these scenarios generally fall into four separate categories--Therapy/Prevention, Diagnosis, Prognosis, Etiology/Harm--they further correspond to pre-designated study designs and article types found in research databases and point-of-care tools.
