TTUHSC library users currently have access to print and electronic journals, print and electronic books, electronic databases, and bibliographic tools. Through a proxy server, TTUHSC affiliated users may access online material from off-site locations as well. The TTUHSC library system has collections in excess of 275,000 bound volumes, more than 38,000 electronic books, and subscriptions to more than 22,000 electronic journals. The TTUHSC Libraries also provide electronic access to more than 400 databases which are annotated.
The TTUHSC Libraries welcome suggestions from students, residents, and faculty for new titles. There is an online purchase recommendation form in which users can request new titles or databases. Purchase recommendations will be evaluated in terms of appropriateness to the instructional programs given the funds availablity.
