Searching for Studies: Electronic Databases

Search electronic databases which index journals that publish articles relevant to the subject topic.

Biomedical:   PubMed, Embase, Cancer.gov, National Guideline Clearinghouse

Basic Science:  Scopus, Web of Science

Evidence Based:  Cochrane Register of Controlled Trials, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews

Nursing:  CINAHL Ultimate, Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), PEPID

Physical Therapy:  CINAHL Ultimate, Pedro

Pharmaceutical:  Embase, Micromedex, International Pharmaceutical Abstracts, PharmGKB

Psychiatry/Psychology:  PubMed, Embase, PsychInfo, Psychiatry Online

Speech, Language, Pathology:  PubMed, CINAHL UltimateLinguistics & Language Pathology,

       Rehabilitation Reference CenterScopus
