Selecting Studies

Selection "should be performed independently by at least two qualified expert reviewers." 

Choose studies that potentially meet inclusion criteria.

Eliminate duplicate articles.

Review abstracts to determine which studies meet inclusion or exclusion criteria.

Retrieve the full-text of studies whose abstracts meet inclusion criteria.

Analyze the articles and eliminate based on exclusion criteria.
